The Collapse is Closer Than you Think

Michael Ruppert gives us his bleak opinion of the world in this 2009 documentary. Ruppert argues that the world is entirely dependent on oil and that we have reached peak oil. He says that money is the root of all evil and that greed has the potential to end human civilization. In the end, totally worth watching.

Ruppert delivers a dark opinion on the health of our civilized world. Some might like that, others may not. Ruppert doesn’t come across as an Alex Jones type per say, his thoughts can be reaching to put it lightly but his presentation is collected. Collapse focuses mostly on our collective dependence on oil. Corrupted financial policies and discussion about peak oil and failing energy systems constitute the meat and potatoes of this documentary.

It’s raw, real, and thought provoking.
